Thrift Store Chair Makeover

August 9, 2012 by Kristi 5 Comments

Jenna at SAS Interiors recently completed her very first upholstery project, and let me tell you, she knocked this one out of the park! She took an average thrift store chair, painted and reupholstered the chair, and turned it into this beauty that she now uses as a desk chair.

And if you think the front is amazing, check out the back!

That looks like an expensive chair that she found at some high-end shop, right? It’s hard to imagine that she actually found it like this…

I’m so impressed that this was Jenna’s very first upholstery project. And she’s even sharing the process with us. To see the step-by-step instructions, visit SAS Interiors.

Wow! That really is impressive! Heading over to see how she did it, and yes, I would have thought this came from an expensive boutique!

Excellent example of what just a bit of paint and upholstering can do. What a transformation, well done Jenna!

That is one gorgeous chair! I have been trying to think of ways to make my old furniture look new rather than spend a ton on just buying new pieces. I must try out this painting and reupholstering project.
